Title-chasing Feyenoord and PSV suffer surprise defeats but reigning Dutch Eredivisie champions Ajax collect three points.

    Script:

Last season's Dutch Eredivisie runners-up Feyenoord were stunned by recently-promoted Willem II on Saturday.

Samuel Armenteros made it 2-0 to the visitors inside half an hour.

    Feyenoord's summer signing Colin Kazim-Richards grabbed a consolation but the ex-Blackburn winger couldn't prevent a 2-1 defeat.

Fellow title hopefuls PSV missed the chance to extend their lead at the top of the table after they were defeated at Zwolle.

Phillip Cocu's side took a one goal lead after Luuk de Jong's effort.

But they threw their advantage away and in the final minutes of the match Ben Rienstra put the 3-1 victory beyond doubt.

Champions Ajax have made their traditionally slow start to the season but they clawed back some ground on their rivals by comfortably beating Heracles.

Arkadiusz Milik bagged his brace and the Amsterdammers second going into half-time.

Wout Weghorst pulled one back for Heracles but Ajax's 2-1 win moves them within three points of the Eredivisie summit.
