Post-game reaction after Serbia reached the championship game of the Basketball World Cup by beating France 90-85 on Friday night (12 September) in Madrid.

"Its always painful when you lose a game, especially this kind of game. We didn't deserve this game because on the first half we were missing some rhythm and they gained confidence. We tried to come back on the second half but it wasn't enough because they gained confidence and it was hard to stop them".

"It was a real pleasure. I told the players before, to take advantage of this moment, being in semi finals. Before the quarter finals nobody thought we could make it. My only regret was we were not as focused as in our former game, even if we had been working in that direction. It was difficult to make some players come down and get the same concentration. Myself, I knew this game would be very difficult."

"Of course there is some frustration because we showed how we can play different right from the start for 40 minutes two nights ago, and we didn't do it tonight, I don't know why. I don't know, maybe we got some satisfaction and we thought we were going to do it tonight again, it was going to be easy...I don't know what we were thinking but we didn't do it. And in a semi final we had to be ready for that. We can't wait to be down 15. We showed it still, we showed we can play different and we did it, but we can't wait 20 minutes to be down 15 to do it."
