Al Ahli held to 1-1 draw by Al Khor in round three of the Qatar Stars League on Friday (September 12).

Coming into this Qatar Star League clash on Friday, hosts Al Ahli had maximum points & Al Khor had lost both opening games.

Al Khor's Kalifa Abubaker did well to keep out this swerving shot from Mohamad Al Malki in the 17th minute.

However, the visitors would stun the hosts. Brazilian striker Julio Cesar opened the scoring 12 minutes from time after a mistake in the Al Ahli defence.

Yet five minutes later the gift was returned. Casual play at the back gave Alan Dioko the chance to equalise for the hosts.

The Congolese international made no mistake and Al Ahli remain unbeaten and atop the Qatar league with 7 points.

While Al Khor sit 12th, two places off the bottom with their first point of the season.
