SOUNDBITE: (English) Mahendra Singh Dhoni, India captain (on the last over of the match):
"Well, [Ambati] Rayudu just came into bat. He's not someone, whose used to batting at six or seven. It's very difficult for a batsman to straight away look to hit the ball, especially if you are a top order batsman. So, he didn't really middle a lot of deliveries whatever he played, so I thought it's a better option. I hit first ball for a six, so I thought it was a better option if I can stay and take all the strike because it would have been slightly difficult for him. That's what I thought. I took that decision. In this game it didn't really pay me."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Mahendra Singh Dhoni, India captain:
"It's difficult. Seventeen [runs] off six [delivery] is, it's always difficult. You ask anyone, it's a bit of an issue, but I'm glad I got the boundary off the first delivery, which meant the pressure was pretty even after that, but... I think at least two more deliveries were there that I could have hit over boundary, but [it was] one of those days when I didn't middle it, got to the toe end of the bat. So, you have to take the onus, you have to take the responsibility. Didn't pay, just take the responsibility."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Mahendra Singh Dhoni, India captain (on when he decided he would keep the strike in the last over):
"No, it was before the start of the over. I said, 'If I play six deliveries I've a very good chance of hitting 17 runs', and it's important to back yourself and especially that's my strength. Could have been slightly difficult for [Ambati] Rayudu. He could have, he could have still played the shot and could have gone for a boundary, but I took the responsibility."
