At the fourth round of the 2014 UCI BMX Supercross World Cup in Argentina, Great Britain's Liam Phillips produced a near faultless lap to claim the men's time-trail.

Going into the day's competition, the 25-year-old was looking to build on his overall lead after three rounds.

He was last out on the course and didn't disappoint - stopping the clock in 31.686 seconds and claiming the fourth round title.

With one round to go Phillips is on track to become the first British male to win the overall series title.

In the elite women's time-trial Mariana Pajon proved yet again, why she is the reining Olympic and world champion.

The Colombian was in a class of her own, producing a blistering time of 34.394.

The result putting her in clear contention for the title of the fourth and penultimate edition of the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup.
