Holland's Dewi Claire Schreefel sealed her first win on the Ladies European Tour with a commanding victory in the Helsingborg Open in Sweden on Sunday.
Schreefel led from start to finish and saved her best round of the week until last, a closing 66 giving her a 17-under-par total of 271 and a seven-shot win over defending champion Rebecca Artis.
SOUNDBITE (English): Dewi Claire Schreefel, Helsingborg Open champion:
Q. What a way to win your first LET trophy in total dominant style, six-under 66?
"Yes I mean it's a good way to win. Rebecca [Artis] had a good chase on and I was glad just to be playing well and keep up with her, and I can't find a better way than this."
SOUNDBITE (English): Dewi Claire Schreefel, Helsingborg Open champion:
Q. You didn't look nervous at all out there, were you?
"Of course, yes, that's why you practise and that's why you have to trust yourself in those moments, keep going and I guess it made my game better today."
England's Laura Davies finished a shot behind Artis in third after a closing 66 which featured eagles on the third and sixth.
