SOUNDBITE (English) Miguel Angel Jimenez, Spanish golfer: (On the Ryder Cup)

"It's going to be tough. As you see every year it's going to be tough, it's going to be tiring. As you've seen in the previous Ryder Cup almost all the matches coming (down) to the 17th-18th (holes) shows you it's going to be very interesting. Who's going to win? We'll see, anything can happen and just enjoy the matches."

SOUNDBITE (English) Padraig Harrington, Irish golfer: (On captain Paul McGinley's choices)

"I was in Italy last week with Paul and we certainly discussed a lot. It was a very fluid situation, it was continually moving and changing. It's a lot easier to sit on the couch at home and pick out your names. I can tell you that. It wasn't without a lot of research, that's for sure. I'm absolutely certain nobody has put as much work into analysing a team as Paul has, I'm absolutely certain. It was tough decisions and the captain has to make tough decisions."

SOUNDBITE (English) Padraig Harrington, Irish golfer: (On the USA's chances)

"They're loving the fact they are supposedly the underdogs coming into this. There's a lot of talent in their team and they have the ability to pull together as a team more this time round. Phil Mickelson will be undisputed number one in the team and he will take leadership into that Ryder Cup and I think that will help that team."
