"Yeah I suppose it's a good test of golf, you know there's lots of, it's tricked up in places, you play nicely you're going to do well. You know there is a big emphasis on the short game this week, you're not going to hit every green, the greens are quite small. So you've got to allow for the fact that you're going to be chipping and putting a lot. So you've got to get up and down when you can and take your chances when they come."

"Yeah it's massive, something I've always wanted to do, so the fact it has come round now is great. I've played really well all season, my form has been building year-on-year, so yeah it's huge. Czech was very important, to not only qualify but get a win going into the Ryder Cup, you know winning is what it is all about, to get another win was big for me, big for my Ryder Cup debut."

"Yeah the team looks very strong, his picks were very good, you know (Lee) Westwood and (Ian) Poulter their game speaks for themselves and Stevie (Stephen Gallacher) has been playing excellent golf for the last couple of years again. He needed to play well in his last event and he did, so he proved to the captain he's a great pick and you know it's a very strong team. I don't know who you say would be favourite, but whoever it is it doesn't make a difference. The guys have to bond well as a team, everybody has and we've got to go out there and play very well."
