100 metre world record holder Usain Bolt put down his running spikes and picked up a cricket bat in Bangalore on Tuesday.

The six-time Olympic gold medallist, who won gold in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m in both Beijing in 2008 and London in 2012, headed a cricket team to take on a side led by Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh.

It was a seven-a-side four-over exhibition match and Bolt had Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh in his team.

The Jamaican sprinter managed to get a sweet connection onto one ball and celebrated with a forward roll, followed by his signature celebration, usually seen on the running track.

Once the match was over the cricketers tried their hand at sprinting and Yuvraj Singh used a strong arm to block Bolt to win the race.

Not that Bolt was too upset with the outcome, he later signed autographs and posed for photographs with, once again with that famous celebration pose.
