SOUNDBITE: (English) Ravichandran Ashwin (Q: On his bowling performances)
"Yeah as I said, even at the Oval I thought I was bowling really well but initially when I started I was a little rusty as I already mentioned, but then there has been a considerable amount of work that's gone into it. I mean what about 50-55 days of good work and before that I was working with [Bharat] Arun back in Chennai. It has been at least a good sixty [days], two months work on my bowling, trying to get sorted with my action and trying to get up on overs. So a lot of these things have been happening, so the results are just happening, it's good, thankfully it's happening now."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Ravichandran Ashwin (Q: Are you surprised at how much of a strangle hold you and the other spin bowlers have been able to exert on England's batsmen?)
"It's a pretty comfortable domain for us, you know I mean it's been one of our strengths over the last three or four years, especially over through the middle overs, we always operated in that fashion. There are situations when the batsmen get going and we aren't able to get wickets, those are really hard times, but if we get a wicket or two and then if we can put some hold on the batsmen, then that's a very comfortable domain for us."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Ravichandran Ashwin (Q: The way you've fielded in the ODIs is much better than in the Test's, how do you explain the difference?)
"Especially when you have some bad, bad games, bad totals, which is how it petered out towards, as the Test series was going on. We had some fresh legs coming in, some fresh attitude coming in, so that obviously helps, I think about six or seven people are new into the team that obviously adds on."
