Britain won a host of medals and set a world record at the Rowing World Championships in Amsterdam on Saturday.

The New Zealand duo Eric Murray and Hamish Bond were once again centre-stage, a day after racing to gold in the men's coxed pair.

The Kiwis here in the men's pair taking their 19th consecutive win for the all-conquering New Zealanders.

Reigning Olympic champions Helen Glover and Heather Stanning are looking to defend their title in Rio in 2016.

And the British pair proved they are still the pair to beat in the Women's Pair final.

Glover and Stanning steaming to victory in a new world best time of six minutes, 50.61, smashing the 2002 time by three seconds.

The Men's Quadruple Sculls saw Ukraine and Great Britain in a battle royale.

Side by side, the two crews battled until the final sprint, when the Ukrainian crew just managed to hold off the fast-finishing British boat.

Britain's medal tally for the regatta now stands at two golds, three silvers and a bronze, to go with the gold and silver won by the para-rowers.
