South Africa's Hennie Otto holds a two shot lead over Richie Ramsay of Scotland after the third round of the Italian Open in Turin on Saturday (30th August).

After a stunning 9-under par 2nd round South African Hennie Otto led by three shots going into Saturday of the Italian Open.

Francesco Molinari is the best placed of the home players and the 2006 champion kept in touch with the leaders with a three under par round of 69.

Stephen Gallagher is the man with the most to gain this week. The Scot needs a top two finish to earn an automatic spot at the Ryder Cup.

Gallagher rolled in a birdie here at the 5th

And then another at the 10th. He went on to card a 69 to sit four off that all important second spot.

Scot Richie Ramsey sits in second after his round of the day 66.

And South African Otto carded a battling 71 to remain in the lead, yet Ramsey is now just two shots off the South African,

A one-two finish for Scotland would leave Ramsey and especially Gallagher delighted.
