"It's not about systems - people make too much, it is about good players at the end of the day. I speak to other managers at different clubs who play that same system, friends of mine, and it is going fantastic for them. It's about players really and we've just been a little bit short I think of gelling a team together because of the start that we had."

"If people come in, I'd like to freshen it up a little bit you know, if I can. Seven of the team that played against Burton were here when we got relegated, they were part of that squad that got relegated. So you'd like to freshen it up really - but there are some good players and I would like to change one or two around but we will have to see what happens."

"Maybe today or tomorrow (that he will sign contract), whenever. It is there - Tony (Fernandes, QPR chairman) offered me an extension for two years and I'll sign it. I haven't read it, probably won't even read it - I'll just sign it."
