  • Intro:

Maribor manager Ante Simundza said reaching the group stage of the UEFA Champions League was "a great thing for Slovenia" after their 1-0 aggregate win over Scottish side Celtic on Tuesday (26th August), a result which Celtic boss Ronny Deila described as "disappointing".

    Script:

SOUNDBITE: (English) Ronny Deila, Celtic manager (Q: You brought on Kris Commons at half time, do you think at 0-0 you should have just tried to play a little tighter?)

"No I don't think so because if we had continued like in the first half we would have conceded goals and you know we need to get much more out of what we did in the first half, I think that was not good enough. I think we lifted ourselves in the second half and we had some chances and they scored on their first chance of the second half and then it gets difficult."
