NZ 'intensity' too much for Australia - Hansen

Wednesday, August 27 2014 by SNTV
  • Intro:

Reaction on Sunday (24th August) after New Zealand beat Australia 51-20 in the Bledisloe Cup in Eden Park.

    Script:

"Obviously last week we didn't go that good and disappointing cause we set high standards for ourselves but very fortunate that we only had seven days to wait to get another opportunity and very pleased and very proud of the team.""We showed an intensity that we didn't have the week before out defence really set the tone, we made some big tackles and I think it was more than Australia expected because they got a little bit yippie there for a wee bit, they came right but they probably in the first twenty minutes dropped more ball than they dropped in the whole eighty and that's just a sign that they're not expecting the intensity that they got."
