So Yeon Ryu holds a one-shot after the opening round of the Canadian Pacific Women's Open on Thursday.

Elsewhere Inbee Park - won in Pittsford for her fifth LPGA Tour major victory - opened with a bogey-free round of six-under 66.

Whilst Brittany Lincicome struggled to find any rythm. The 2011 Canadian Women's Open winner shot a one-under round of 71, with two birdies and one bogey.

And Suzann Pettersen birdied the 12th hole to get to three under and parred out to card a 69.

Meanwhile Sweden's Anna Nordqvist - who has already recorded two wins this season - sits alone in third place thanks to a bogey-free 65.

At seven under, she trails leader So Yeon Ryu by two strokes. Ryu birdied six of her last nine holes to take the first round lead
