United stars swap shirts with children

    Manchester United's starting XI swapped shirts with some lucky children before losing 2-1 to Swansea on their opening match of the season on Saturday (16th August) in Manchester, England.

    Script:

    It was an opening fixture to forget for Manchester United.

    But it was a chance of a lifetime for 11 lucky children from around the world as tjeu swapped shifts with the Manchester United starting eleven.

    In a role reversal the Manchester United players wore the names of the mascots.

    The children were flew in from Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, South Korea and the United States by the club's sponsor Chevrolet.

    But the stunt was not such a lucky charm - as Manchester United started their season with a 2-1 loss.

    Wayne Rooney equalised for Manchester United but goals from Sung-Yong Ki in the first half and Gylfi Sigurdsson in the second secured the win for Swansea.

    United play Sunderland in their next Premier League match.
