    Script:

Roger Federer cruised into his fourth consecutive ATP final as he brushed aside Canada's Milos Raonic with a 6-2 6-3 victory in the Cincinnati Masters semi-finals on Saturday.

The world number three said he was pleased with his performance:

    SOUNDBITE (English): Roger Federer:

"Yeah, absolutely I think I'm able to pick it up now. Round by round I'm playing better. That's what I like to see from myself, you know, not like starting strong and then getting weaker as the week goes on so I'm very pleased with how I played out here tonight against Milos and I hope I've got something left for the final tomorrow."

Waiting for the 17-time grand slam champion in Sunday's final is in-form David Ferrer.

The Spaniard was understandably pleased after he said adios to Frenchman Julien Benneteau 6-3-6-2 in just 71 minutes:

SOUNDBITE: (English) David Ferrer, sixth seed:

"I played a good match. Good game. Nothing else. I rest for tomorrow."

The omens don't look good for Ferrer, who hasn't beaten the five-time Cincinnati champion in 15 career meetings.
