India captain MS Dhoni reflects on the Test series between India & England after the home side secured a 3-1 victory on Sunday (17th August), following an innings and 244-run win for the home side at the Oval Cricket Ground in the fifth and final Test in London.

SOUNDBITE (English) MS Dhoni, India captain(on India's poor batting display overall and in the last three Tests in particular):

"Yes, very disappointed with the fact that we couldn't really put (up) any kind of fight in the last three Test matches, but you know, let's look at the positives. Hopefully, they will take the learnings out of these games and once they come back over here... because most of the players are young, so definitely it seems that they will be fit enough to come back over here and whatever learnings they have got from this series, they'll apply themselves the next one."

"Well, is it the lowest? I think certainly 2011 was the lowest, you know, because we had the resources in that team, but yet we failed, compared to this team. Why exactly we are not lasting moe than one session, it's very difficult for me to answer. As of now, these are the things. It can be any of lots of reasons and I felt after the first couple of Test matches, our... especially the batting performance, it kept sliding and we were never able to accumulate the kind of runs that really... is really needed to compete and be in the game."
