Bradley Dredge has a four shot lead half-way through the Made in Denmark at Aalborg. The Welshman carded a 68 on day two to move eight under par.

England's Simon Wakefield is closest to him, this putt on the eighth one of five birdies for him on Friday but a bogie from him on the last eases the pressure on the leader.

Four golfers are tied on three under including Denmark's Thomas Bjorn, the locals stunned as the Ryder Cup contender went round in a disappointing 73.

His compatriot Thorbjorn Olesen is also in the four now on three under as well as England's Garrick Porteous and Scotland's David Drysdale.

Two shots further back is Morten Olum Madsen who will remember this round for dropping his club, if he gets himself in contention, you wonder just how much he might regret that.
