Intro:
England's Chris Woakes reflects on bowling India out for only 148 on a one-sided opening day in the final Test at The Oval.

SOUNDBITE (English): Chris Woakes, England
"Yeah, no, a very good day. You know to win the toss and bowl first, and then the way Broady [Stuart Broad] and Jimmy [Anderson] set the tone -- again -- was fantastic. And to bowl them out for less than 150 was perfect. But the way the boys finished, you know, 60 without loss was a very good end to the day."
SOUNDBITE (English): Chris Woakes, England
"I suppose you often think: 'Am I ever going to pick up a wicket?'. But you try to stick to the process, keep telling yourself you're doing the right things. And if you keep putting the ball in the right area, hopefully you will pick up those wickets. I felt like today I obviously did that and got those rewards. But it can be disheartening sometimes when you do bowl well and don't pick up the wickets. But as long as you are contributing to the team in some way -- whether it's holding up an end or bowling in a partnership -- you feel like you are doing a job for the team -- you keep doing that."
SOUNDBITE (English): Chris Woakes, England (On how he has changed a year after his Test debut)
"I think I have put on a yard of pace - a few miles per hour quicker which is always nice. But I think that I am a lot more accurate than I was probably 18 months ago -- a year to 18 months ago. You know the more times you put the balls in the right area, the more chance you have up picking up wickets. And then better players -- you cannot give them any 'freebies' [easy balls]. I would say I am just more accurate and a little bit quicker, which obviously helps."
