    Script:

Third-seed Agnieszka Radwanska won her first WTA tournament since 2013 when she beat Venus Williams in the Rogers Cup final on Sunday.

She also became the first Rogers Cup champion from Poland with her 6-4, 6-2 straight sets win over the American.

The 25-year-old used her relentless baseline game to dominate a tired-looking Williams, who had taken a three-set victory over her top-ranked sister Serena in the semi-finals on Saturday.

Radwanska, ranked fifth in the world got off to a flying start, taking a 4-1 lead, but 26th ranked Williams answered with a break that had the fans on their feet.

Radwanska settled back in though and finished the set before opening the second with a service break.

After Williams broke to tie it at 2-2, she gave the break back to Radwanska with a pair of double faults and Radwanska cruised the rest of the way, punctuating her victory with an ace on match point.
