SOUNDBITE (English) Alistair Cook, England captain:

    (On Stuart Broad's injury)

"I've got no idea on the oval. I think he has a broken nose. We're just waiting to see the scan results to see if there's any damage to his cheek bones. Obviously a nasty blow and we wish him well. Fingers crossed. It's a bit of a shock when you see the helmets these days for that to happen. Hopefully it'll be OK."

SOUNDBITE (English) M.S. Dhoni, India captain:

(On his team's problems with the bat at the top of the order)

"The Lord's win and the performance of the 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 they have scored runs in the series and that camouflages to some extent the question that top order is maybe not performing so well. When you're playing with five bowlers, that fifth bowler has scored more runs for us. That actually put pressure. Whatever the reason may be, maybe a few of the batsmen are having a lean period at the same time. Overall we have to put more runs on the board so that the bowlers can get the batters of the opposition team out."
