Stenson explains the difficulty on winning a major

Wednesday, August 06 2014 by SNTV
  • Intro:

Players were practising at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky on Monday (August 4th) for the 96th US PGA Championship (August 7-10th).

    Script:

SOUNDBITE: (English) Henrik Stenson (on the difficulty of winning a major):

"I've been up and about a couple of times. I don't really feel like there's any that I should've won and didn't win, but I've been in good position a few times. That's what it's all about, keep on trying, put yourself there on Sunday afternoon. If you're there, and thereabouts, that's when you have a chance, so it's like a long road. Three and a half days of hard grind and playing to get there and you never know what can happen on the back nine."
