Sunday saw the final few medals at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

A rainy day wasn't enough to dampen the spirits of the spectators as they watched Lizzie Armitstead clinch gold in the women's cycling road race.

Meanwhile, in the men's hockey final, Australia were in ruthless form as they beat India 4-0 to take the gold medal.

There was more Australia success to come as they seemed determined to finish the Games on a high.

They sealed gold in the in the mixed doubles squash final beating England and ended the day with a further victory over another historic rival

The Australian women's netball team beating New Zeland to the gold medal with a tremendous 58-40 victory.
