    Script:

Nacional of Paraguay carried a healthy two nil lead with them to Uruguay for the Copa Libertadores semi-final second leg against Defensor Sporting on Tuesday.

The hosts boss Fernando Curutchet would have been pleased with his side's bright start. Right winger Giorgian De Arrascaeta was inches away from connecting with Felipe Gedoz's corner and halving the deficit.

Just after the break, De Arrascaeta cut the ball back to substitute Adrián Luna, who put Defensor in front on the night. The Uruguayans had the bit between their teeth.

Another corner from the left caused panic in the visitors' penalty area and left back Robert Herrera smashed the underside of the crossbar. Moving in to added time and still a goal down on aggregate, it was panic on the streets of Montevideo.

Nacional held on to seal a 2-1 win over the two legs and reach the Copa Libertadores final for the first time in their history.
