"We all come in as our won individual players from different teams, but when we come here we just have one common goal and that's to win the US, win a gold [medal] for the US. So that's the only thing that we come out here to do. I feel like that's at the forefocus [forefront] on my mind is just winning a gold medal for the USA."

"I was excited, I really was. I mean obviously we all suspected it would happen. Obviously we didn't know until it happened. I found out when everyone else found out. So I mean it was a surprise but more of an exciting turn. Obviously the organization is going in the right direction and the essay that he wrote, obviously spoke volumes about what he wants to accomplish. And I want to be a part of that as well. So hopefully we can make something special happen in the next few years that we're together."
