"Yeah I mean it's amazing. I couldn't believe it myself a little bit. I said, 'Woah, we've got a chance to get David.' Then we had the conversation and we were pretty close to agreeing. Then, you know, the competition on the Spanish national team is obvious. We didn't know if he'd make it, were they going to win the league? Were they going to make it to the Champions League? And he stars all the way through, makes the World Cup team, we get to announce him. He's just an amazing guy, great player. And for me this is what I couldn't wait for: the players. That's what everyone comes to see. That's what everyone should be talking about, not us behind. We're here to build the team and get players to talk about and sort of add to our story. I just can't wait to keep adding the pieces. But David is a huge one for us. Obviously he's going to score some goals. He's going to work hard and really be himself on the team and be one of the leaders."
