SOUNDBITE (English) Brendan Rodgers, Liverpool manager:

(on the signing of Belgium striker Divock Origi)

"Well, firstly, we're absolutely delighted to sign him, because I genuinely think he has real potential to go on and be a world class young player. Seeing him as a young player, playing for the national teams and coming through, seeing his quality and then see that grow and develop and play in the World Cup, where he showed a lot of his qualities... I just think that it's a great signing for the football club. Of course, as a manager, he's someone who could really have helped us this season. You know, 19 years of age, six foot two, he's quick, he can score goals, strong... but we knew that part of the deal was that he was going back to Lille on loan, so... but the over riding feeling is that we're absolutely delighted to have a young player who potentially can be a star over the coming years."
