SOUNDBITE: (English) Christine Ohuruogu, England 4x400-metre runner:

(on how the Commonwealth Games rank alongside other events such as the Olympics)

"We don't cut our intention in half because one is for the Commonwealth Games and we give our full attention to the Olympics. We do everything the same way. We prepare the same way, we train the same way. If you're not ready you don't go. It's simple. So for us, when you step on that start line you are out to give it everything you've got - whichever level you're at. So it doesn't really rank anywhere. We see it as another championship, where we want to do well."
