Jack Sock is into the last four at the Atlanta Open after a 7-6 (6), 6-2 win over Slovakian Lukas Lacko on Friday.

The 21-year-old American trailed 5-2 in the first set, before producing an impressive comeback and sealing the set with a tie break.

He carried his momentum across to the second set, which saw him dominate from start to finish sealing it 6-2.

Sock will face fellow American and top seed John Isner in the semi-final.

Meanwhile, Dudi Sela needed three sets to overcome fourth seed Vasek Pospisil.

Both players struggled with injury before Sela secured the first set 7-5.

He went on to suffer a total collapse in the second as Pospisil strolled past his opponent to take it 6-1.

Nevertheless, the Israeli managed to recover in the final set of the match beating Vasek 7-5, 1-6, 6-2.

He will face world number 94 Benjamin Becker in the semi-finals.
