Robin Haase of the Netherlands avenged his 2013 final loss to Russia's Mikhail Youzhny on Friday at the Suisse Open in Gstaad.

Haase saved six of nine break points to book a spot in his second semi-final of the year with a 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 victory over the defending champion in just under two hours.

Juan Monaco will face Haase in the last four on Saturday after beating two-time former champion Thomaz Bellucci 7-6, 6-1.

Pablo Andujar later knocked out second seed and fellow Spaniard Marcel Granollers, the 2011 champion here, 7-5, 6-3.

Andujar will next meet fourth seed Fernando Verdasco or Viktor Troicki.
