Liverpool coach Brendan Rodgers paid his respects to the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings on Thursday, laying a wreath at the site of the disaster.
Three people died and an estimated 264 more were injured when two explosions were set off near the finishing line of the city's marathon in April 2013.
The Reds manager was joined by club owner John Henry and Henry's wife, Linda Pizzuti, as well as two Liverpool legends in Kenny Dalglish and Ian Rush.
Rodgers placed the tribute on Boylston Street, the site of the bombings, on behalf of Liverpool football club
The delegation then visited Marathon Sports, the nearest shop to where the first bomb exploded.
The disaster occurred on April 15th - the same day as the 1989 Hillsborough disaster, which resulted in the deaths of 96 Liverpool fans.
Liverpool are currently on a pre-season tour in the USA.
