Prince Charles tours the Commonwealth venues

    Prince Charles and Duchess of Cornwall Camilla tour the Commonwealth venues.

    Script:

    Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall visited some of the Commonwealth venues in Glasgow on Wednesday.

    The Royals were in Glasgow before the games' opening ceremony got underway.

    The couple were given a tour around some of the venues including boxing, badminton and the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome.

    They met with athletes from India, Jamaica, Australia and Canada.

    The Commonwealth Games will welcome some of the biggest sports stars in the world, including sprinter Usain Bolt and Olympic cycling champions Bradley Wiggins of England and Anna Meares of Australia.

    English triathlete Alistair Brownlee will attempt to add a Commonwealth gold medal to the Olympic one he won in London in 2012.

    The Queen will formally launch the Games at the official opening ceremony at Celtic Park on Wednesday.

    The games run from the 23rd of July to the 3rd of August.
