SOUNDBITE: (English) Mike Cooper, Chief Executive, Commonwealth Games Federation, ( On ticket sales for Glasgow games)

"In excess of one million tickets were sold even before we knew these people had confirmed, it is fantastic they have, but that's how as much it has been embraced. There are some big venues and when you are talking about high demand, I think it has already been clarified you are talking a number of 45,000 seat stadium. If it's classed as high demand as I understand and there is only 500 seats available, that is not too bad".

SOUNDBITE: (English) HRH Prince Rahman, President, CGF, ( On whether Scottish referendum will become an issue with athletes)

"You know I think it is there…Scottish referendum is an agenda that is on the table, I think everyone is aware of it. But I don't think anyone is trying to you know politicise it within the Games, I don't think so".

SOUNDBITE (English) HRH Prince Rahman, President, CGF, (On CGF attitude to politics)

"We are essentially organising the Games, sport for athletes, we try not to get involved in politics of the countries, of minorities etc. We do standby our values of humanity, equality and destiny".
