The final round of the LPGA Tour's Marathon Classic took place at Highland Meadows Golf Club in Ohio on Sunday.

Mo Martin ended the day to come in with a share of seventh place.

World No. 1 Stacy Lewis tied for 25th at six under par. Despite her disappointing finish, the American will retain her top ranking.

LPGA Tour rookie Kelly Tan earned her first career top-10 result in this one. The Malaysian tied for fourth place with Katherine Kirk and Lee-Anne Pace.

Cristie Kerr tied Lydia Ko for the lead at 13 under par with her fifth birdie of the day but she bogeyed 15 and parred out to close alone in third place at 12 under.

So Yeon Ryu put together back-to-back birdies on both 12 and 13 and 16 and 17 to pull even with the 17-year-old Kiwi Lydia Ko at 14 under par.

Moments after Ryu's 25-foot birdie putt on 17, Ko sent her third shot on the par-five 18th to within four feet of the flag.

She rolled in the putt and finished with a six-under 65 that left her at 15-under.

Ryu had a chance to match her and force a playoff but her six-foot birdie attempt on 18 rolled just right for a second place result.

Ko won for the second time this season and took home a winner's cheque that made her the youngest player to top US $1 million in career earnings on the LPGA Tour.
