Nord Vue near Penrith in England hosted the sixth round of the 2014 FIM Trial World Championship, starting on Saturday.

With only two further rounds to run, and just four points separating the two main title contenders ahead of the meeting, it was likely to be pivotal in deciding the overall champion.

Challenging conditions made the course far from easy on day one, with rain having a considerable affect on the terrain.

It was Spaniard Toni Bou who fared the best.

Despite some problems during his third run round the course, he held firm to take the win.

Compatriots Adam Raga and Albert Cabestany were second and third respectively.

The conditions on day two allowed less complicated bike handling.

But again, Bou was totally dominant.

The Repsol Honda Team driver chalked up a total of 20 penalty points over his three runs of the course, to sweep to victory once more.

It was his fourth consecutive win of the season, bringing his total overall to five victories in 2014.

Adam Raga did enough to finish second once more, while Jeroni Fajardo came third.

The seventh round of the World Trial Championship will start on Saturday in La Mongie in the French Pyrenees.
