"I'm starting to get the flow of the round, the flow of playing again [after injury] but it's still... I've just made too many mistakes. You can't run up high scores like that and expect to contend [with the tournament leaders]. You know, especially when the conditions are this benign [adverse]... you know, most of the scores are three under par or better and I certainly didn't do that."

"It's an Open Championship... nobody's done it before, so it's not that easy to do it... the only thing I can do is go out there and try to play as well as possible -- obviously a little bit better than the last couple of holes -- and, you know, see where that gets me.
