  • Intro:

Several members of Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur spent their second day on United States soil on - learning the finer points of American football from the Seattle Seahawks.

    Script:

Its not their normal training gear...and these aren't their normal training partners.

But for Tottenham's players, a chance to pick up tips and learn a little about a different kind of football...American

Spurs, who are in the middle of their preseason camp North America, were at the VMAC - the training base of the Seattle Seahawks the reigning Super Bowl Champions.

Tottenham's American goalkeeper Brad Friedel seemed to know what he was doing.

And Seahawks KJ Wright, Doug Baldwin and Steven Hauschka helped him along with Gylfi Sigurosson and Harry Kane learn about the game. And they also had a go at the British game, with decent results.

Spurs take on three MLS sides including ex-players Clint Dempsey's Seattle Sounders and Jermain Defoe's Toronto FC. They close out the tour against the Chicago Fire and they'll be hoping some of the Seahawks' success will have rubbed off on them.
