    Script:

The Hague in Holland was the venue for the semi-finals of the Transavia Grand Slam Beach Volleyball on Saturday.

First up were German's Katrin Holtwick and Ilka Semmler who defeated Maria Antonelli and Juliana Felisberta of Brazil in three sets.

Holtwick and Semmler demonstrated brilliant powers of recovery to stay in this point and win the first set 21-18.

But the Brazilian pair fought back to claim the second 21-16 and level the match.

A tense finish was in store but the German duo held their nerve to take the third set 17-15 and the match.

Holtwick and Semmler's reward is a place in the final, where they'll come up against more Brazilian opposition, this time in the form of Taiana Lima and Fernanda Alves.

Lima and Alves beat Czech's Kristyna Kolocova and Marketa Slukova in straight sets.

The Brazilians sealed the opening set comfortably 21-14.

The second was even more one-sided as Lima and Alves prevailed 21-11.
