    SOUNDBITE (English) Liam Plunkett, England:
(The feeling on making a maiden Test half-century)

"It was good. I take pride in my batting, I love to bat. I started as a junior as a batsman mainly. So I still work hard on it. But it is always nice to get a Test 50. And obviously, the runs at the end have been crucial as Jimmy [Anderson] showed last game. Obviously 'Broady' [Stuart Broad] does it quite often too. So have the partnership at the end pass their score was a good feeling."

    SOUNDBITE (English) Cheteshwar Pujara, India:

"Well, obviously it is evenly balanced. What we need to do is bat well tomorrow. And we need something around 300 runs on the board to, I mean get them out. And even the wicket has started deteriorating a bit. We have seen variable bounce on the wicket. So we are very confident that we can get them out. But the first thing is to bat well tomorrow."

    SOUNDBITE (English) Liam Plunkett, England:

"Yeah, obviously I look at it. But still what was it? 70-odd for 1. But I was thinking if I can nip a few out here and go hard and try and get them 100 for 4 - a lead of 100 for 4. But I felt in good rhythm. Obviously I changed my length. Obviously I got my lengths wrong first innings. And obviously it started to swing, I felt in good rhythm and obviously it was good to get those two wickets in two balls."

    SOUNDBITE (English) Cheteshwar Pujara, India:

"It is difficult to say what total to defend on this. But whatever total we get, it is not an easy wicket where they can score easily. So whatever total we can get I think if we bowl well, we can get them out."
