Intro:
Player reactions from the second round of the Open Championship at Royal Liverpool, England, on Friday.
Script:
SOUNDBITE: (English) Bubba Watson, Four-over-par (on if he expects to make the cut):
"Oh no, I've already lost it, it's already good. I can't wait to get back to see my wife and see my child, but if I make the cut, if somehow a miracle happens and I make the cut then yes, I'll be ready to go tomorrow and pumped about it. But yes, I don't let stuff linger. I'm not that kind of person. I've got more issues to worry about than…. missed putts."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Jason Day, Two-over-par:
"There's some luck involved with, you have to really know your game-plan and stick to your game-plan out there. Obviously it can change in a heartbeat. You get certain winds, I'll hit a lot more drivers today than I did yesterday and, just certainly because I was hitting it better today, but…. I've got two more days, I still have to be patient out there. It's very difficult to try and attack and be aggressive with these pin locations. I've just got to try to give myself a lot more opportunities on the greens and hopefully putt a little bit better."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Graham DeLaet, Three-over-par:
"Yeah, like I said, I knew that I had three par-fives on that backside and if I could birdie them all and make pars the rest of the way I would maybe have a chance and I was able to, I hit a lucky, kind of great lucky shot on 16 and holed out a wedge for eagle and, it would have been nice to birdie 18. I hit a great shot in there and just mis-read that putt. Hit a great putt, but I was happy with the way I battle back."
