Intro:
As the NFL continues its expansion into London, a host of players have thrown their support behind the idea of a team being permanently based in the English capital.
Script:
After seven years and eight sold-out games, the NFL has a pretty good record in London.
2013 was the first time the NFL had played two regular season games at Wembley Stadium - and the enthusiasm for those has seen a third added for this year.
The Detroit Lions are one of the sides who'll be playing at Wembley in the upcoming season, and linebacker Stephen Tulloch believes it's only matter of time before a permanent British franchise.
SOUNDBITE (English) Stephen Tulloch, Detroit Lions linebacker (on the NFL's expansion into London):
"They're doing it gradually, they're doing it the right way. I heard it was one game first, then two games, then three games. Eventually as we get more games we'll be able to see how it'll work to have a team here and a team in the States to be able to come back and forth, it'll be interesting to see how that plays out."
Atlanta Falcons defensive end Osi Umenyiora believes that a British-franchise would be a unique opportunity for NFL players.
SOUNDBITE (English) Osi Umenyiora, Atlanta Falcons defensive end (on if players would be willing to play in the NFL for more than one game):
"They'd be willing to do that right now without too much issue. This is what we love to do, it's an opportunity for us to take care of our families. If it's coming out here or playing in Afghanistan, as long as it is the NFL, as long as players are still getting paid the same they'll go over there and play too."
Miami Dolphins take on the Oakland Raiders in the first of this year's games in London on September 28.
