USA Ryder Cup captain Tom Watson says he wants Tiger Woods -- who is recovering from back surgery -- in his team. The tournament at Gleneagles, Scotland, is held from 23-28 September. Watson was speaking at Royal Liverpool Golf Club, England, which hosts the The Open Championship from 17-20 July.

I'll be watching Tiger and I want him on the [Ryder Cup] team. He's a tough competitor and he's great in the team room and he is... wouldn't you want him on your team?"
