The quarter-finals of the Gastein Ladies continued on Friday with Andrea Petkovic facing Stefanie Voegele.

Petkovic edged ahead with the first break of the match in the third game.

Petkovic forced another in the ninth game to take the opening set 6-3.

Service continued to provide no advantage at the start of the second set with neither player able to hold in the first four games.

Petkovic finally served out a game successfully to make it 3-2 though, before breaking Voegele of Switzerland two more times.

The German won 6-3, 6-2 and set up a semi-final meeting with American Grace Min.
