Bhuvneshwar Kumar reflects on his maiden Test match fifty after India rack up 457 all out in the first Test against England at Trent Bridge on Thursday (10 July).

SOUNDBITE (English): Bhuvneshwar Kumar, India bowler, 58 and 0/12:

"Yes, definitely a good day because you know it's not a good wicket for bowling, so at least we needed 400, 450 runs and then we scored that runs so now it's time to bowl really well."

SOUNDBITE (English): Bhuvneshwar Kumar, India bowler, 58 and 0/12 (on how confident he is India can take 20 wickets):

"I mean, we are confident, and we have to do that to win the Test match. But as we know, the wicket is not as good as generally it is in England so I mean, our plan will be different to try to get them out, with different strategies, different plans. And if we are to win the Test match, we have to get them out."

SOUNDBITE (English): Stuart Broad, England all-rounder, two for 53:

"Yeah, a little bit frustrating, I thought the two Indian batsmen played very well. Once that ball was sort of 50 overs old, up until the new ball it was - it's not doing a lot obviously once it's soft, there was nothing for length. We tried everything. We tried a few bouncers, tried to go full at the stumps, but the two Indian batsmen kept the ball out, which is well played. But actually, that session was 90 for four which was our best session of the day, so it was hard to get too down on ourselves."

SOUNDBITE (English): Stuart Broad, England all-rounder, two for 53:

"We coped brilliantly. I thought the attitude throughout showed inour fielding with some of the chances we took, um, there was only one moment that got to me when I was in my 30th over and the ball had just bounced twice to the keeper and a fella on his fifth pint shouted 'Bend your back, Broad!' I thought I was close to going and handing the groundsman the ball. Yeah, other than that I thought we coped brilliantly with it."
