SOUNDBITE: (English) Tejay van Garderen, BMC lead rider:
(On if there is added pressure going into their first Tour without Cadel Evans)
"As far as pressure goes, pressure is just a made-up thing. When it comes down to the last couple kilometres on a summer finish it's whether you have the legs or whether you don't have the legs. There's no more or less (without Cadel).
"We're not coming into the race as favourites. This is a stepping stone for other years. Learning how to be a leader, if I can have a good showing this year we can tweak things. Because one year I am hoping I can win the Tour de France.
"Stage one I'm expecting will be a bunch sprint, maybe (Mark) Cavendish. I hear the roads are going to be pretty hard so it could favour (Peter) Sagan. For me it's about avoiding any mishaps and staying concentrated for the later battle."
