Pablo Larrazabal leads the BMW International Open by three shots after a five-under-par third round 67 on Saturday (June 28th).

    Script:

After local favourite Martin Kaymer missed Friday's cut, the BMW Cologne was left wide open for the rest of the field at the start of Round 3.

Alex Cejka started the day four shots off the lead and this birdie at the 13th moved him in touch of the leaders. The German would drop two shots on the last to remain four off the lead.

Robert Karlsson's pin point drive on the 17th gave the Swede an eagle tap in as he came home with a 68 to sit three off the lead.

Veteran Dane Tomas Bjorn scored a tidy 66 to also move within three of the leaders.

Francesco Molinari was a big mover on Saturday as his seven under round moved him third on the leaderboard at the end of play.

Yet round of the day came from Richard Green who hit a sublime 10 under round to sit at 14 under after three rounds - the Australian here moving to 8 under after 8 back 9 holes.

Out in front though is Spaniard Pablo Larrazabal.

The Spaniard shot a steady 67 to hold a three shot lead going into the last round in Cologne on Sunday.
