SOUNDBITE: (English) Marion Bartoli, Wimbledon women's champion:
"Um, I knew when I announced my retirement last year I would not be able to defend my title this year, but just an amazing moment coming back to see all those flashbacks from last year, all those pictures around, having my name engraved in gold on the champions' board is just absolutely amazing, and I feel extremely honoured and quite proud to be honest, but yes it is very emotional for sure."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Marion Bartoli, Wimbledon women's champion:
(on former coach Amelie Mauresmo's appointment as Andy Murray's coach)
"I actually saw Amelie this morning, by Aorangi (Park), and we were talking about it, that's she's kind of the defending champion here and she has to defend a title. I think it's absolutely amazing to see that a guy - I mean really one of the top players in the world - is hiring a woman to coach him, and that is showing also the next generation that (we're) moving on and a woman can actually coach some guys."
