Top-seeded Richard Gasquet earned his place in the final of the Aegon International with a comfortable 6-4, 6-2 win over Denis Istomin of Uzbekistan under brilliant, blue skies on England's south coast on Friday.

The final test for these players before the start of Wimbledon.

The Frenchman will chase his 11th career title on Saturday.

In the other semi-final, defending champion Feliciano Lopez secured a 6-4, 7-6 victory over Sam Querrey of the United States in 77 minutes.

Lopez saved the lone break point he faced, in the second set, and won 91 per cent of his first-serve points.

He will face top-seeded Richard Gasquet in the final where the two will battle it out for the Championship.
